Do you think Katy can get her 6th #1 hit? I don't. Not that her new acoustic version of "The One That Got Away" isn't fantastic, but no matter what promotion she seems to be throwing out there, it's not getting into the top two spots, or staying there constantly. I love the song, and the meaningful lyrics, but it just doesn't feel to have the 'spark' her other singles had. The two versions of the song sit pretty at 18 and 46 on iTunes, but even together they don't get past number 7. If she can get her 6th number one, it would be groundbreaking, and almost a fluke. I love Katy Perry, but the Teenage Dream era needs to end or get spruced up. A rerelease with one new song and the remixes out be nice to keep us sated while we wait for a whole new album full of new hits. But, these same 12 songs that have been out since August 20, 2010, need to be put to rest. I love Katy, just need some new music.
