Madonna - "Give Me All Your Luvin'" Laidback Luke Remix!

Laidback Luke was approached by Madonna to remix her latest hit, "Give Me All Your Luvin'"!  Loving the remix and check Luke's quote about the some below!
What inspired you to do a remix of "Give Me All Your Love" by Madonna?
The thing is when you do a remix -- and this is what a lot of new kids and new talents don't realize out there -- I am always correcting people, [but] in the non-professional world it goes: Oh, there's this pop song I like. I'll just make a bootleg of it and then I'll call it my remix. I'll release it on my SoundCloud. In the professional world it's way different. In the professional world you get approached by the original artist who asks you do a remix and that only that artist can release it. And sometimes this gets messed around. So basically I got approached by Madonna to remix her new single. So what am I going to say? It's a real honor to have to been able to do so.

Best African American Short Haircuts for summer 2012
The last thing that is considered before creating black hairstyles is the length of time that a woman is willing to spend styling their hair on their own.  Some hairstyles would require longer time to be styled as opposed to others that are literally wash-and-wear hairstyles.  Taking this into consideration will ensure the hairstylist that they are creating black hairstyles that would best suit the lifestyle of the client.Men and women who have black or dark colored hair are unable to support many of the hairstyles that are often seen among models and artists that have a hair color that is different from their own.  That is because not only is the hair color different even the shaft of dark colored hair is slightly thicker than blonde hair.  As such, it tends to be a bit heavier than blonde hair and the reason why some effects seen among blonde hair simply just cannot be done on darker colored hair. Hairstylists have taken this as well as other factors before creating black hairstyles which are not only as trendy as their blonde counterparts.  By creating black hairstyles that are unique, they are able to provide more options to darker haired people to allow them to show their individualism and uniqueness.  One of the things that hairstylists consider before creating black hair styles on a particular individual is the hair texture and thickness.  Black hair has varying thickness and textures.  African American hair types are coarser and thicker than Asian hair.  As such, the hairstylist may be able to create a particular hairstyle that would complement an Asian woman may not necessary work well on African American women.

The second thing that hairstylists take into consideration before creating black hairstyles is the face shape and structure of the individual.  Having oval or square-jawed face shapes can be beneficial in this aspect because these two face shapes tend to complement most hairstyles.  On the other hand, round, diamond and heart-shaped faces tend to be more limited.  Before creating black hairstyles for these face shapes, the hairstylist would need to study the facial shape and structure of the individual in order to properly frame the face with the desired hairstyle so that it would complement their facial structures. If you will cuts to the modern short hairstyles,The hair is blown straight and parted with an angled parting. The fringe is smoothed using a flat-iron to create a sleek curtain over the eyes, while the pale blonde cap of hair is kept softened and given extra definition through a light application of pomade to create some structure in the textured style. This modern short hairstyles color is used to define and accentuate the style by using a darker color to emphasize the fringe. The hair on the top, back and sides is blonde hair with black underneath, which when layered upon the darker fringe creates a tremendous depth styles.

Carrie Underwood - Blown Away Album Cover!

Check out Carrie Underwood's just released album cover for her upcoming album, Blown Away!  "Good Girl" is smokin' hot, but unfortunately we can't post it on the blog, but buy it on iTunes! Can't wait for the new album May 1st! The cover is FIERCE!  She is rocking that sexy dress and sultry eye makeup with an intense look off into the distance!  I predict great things for this album!

Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side (New Single)!

Kelly Clarkson announced in the interview above that her next single is "Dark Side", a midtempo, fan favorite from her album Stronger! She's already prepping the treatment!  Can't wait!

Britney Spears - Hidden Message in Facebook Posts!

I think Britney may have a message in all these mysterious quotes and pictures she keeps posting on Facebook!  Each picture is a screenshot from a music video and a quote!  Each song she's posted has been performed on the Femme Fatale Tour! Coincidence? NO!  She obviously has a plan ( a la "Get Naked (I got a Plan)"), and could it have something to do with the last tour? Another greatest hits?  A DVD collection supposedly in the works?!  Who knows.

Katy Perry - Lyrics for "Wide Awake" and "Dressin' Up"!

Here's a treat for all the Katy Perry fans!  It seems as if the lyrics to the other two new tracks of Katy Perry's impending rerelease, Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, have leaked!  The three new tracks consist of the hit, "Part of Me", the upcoming single, "Dressin' Up", and the slow ballad, "Wide Awake"!  Check the lyrics below!  They seem pretty legit! "Dressin' Up"'s bridge will be my theme song.  NO JOKE!

Wide Awake

I’m wide awake
Yeah, I was in the dark
I was falling hard
With an open heart
I’m wide awake
How did I read the stars so wrong

I’m wide awake
And now it’s clear to me
That everything you see
Ain’t always what it seems
I’m wide awake
Yeah, I was dreaming for so long

(Pre-Chorus)
I wish I knew then
What I know now
Wouldn’t dive in
Wouldn’t bow down
Gravity hurts
You made it so sweet
Till I woke up on
On the concrete

(Chorus)
Falling from cloud 9
Crashing from the high
I’m letting go tonight
(Yeah I’m) Falling from cloud 9

I’m wide awake

Not losing any sleep
Picked up every piece
And landed on my feet
I’m wide awake
Need nothing to complete myself - nooohooo

I’m wide awake
Yeah, I am born again
Outta the lion’s den
I don’t have to pretend
And it’s too late
The story’s over now, the end - yeah

(Pre-Chorus)

(Chorus)

Thunder rumbling
Castles crumbling
I am trying to hold on
God knows that I tried
Seeing the bright side
But I’m not blind anymore…’cause I’m… wide awake

(Chorus)

(Oh now I’m) Falling from cloud 9
It was outta the blue, I’m
Crashing from the high
(Yeah) I’m letting go tonight
Letting go of illusion
(Now I’m) Falling from cloud 9

Dressin’ Up

(Dressin’ up, dressin’ up for you, for you)
(Dressin’ up, dressin’ up for you, for you)

Saucer of milk
Table for two
You wanna pet my kitty
You’re such a dirty doggie

It’s your lucky night
‘Cause I’m in the mood
Oh, I’m feeling spicy
I’m feeling real naughty

Pick a part, you dream it up

A dark vixen, a Lolita
Oh boy, tell me your fantasy
Tonight’s the night I’m dressin’ up for you

I could tell you’re obsessed
By your shortness of breath
Ooh, my Cookie Monster
Wants a taste test

Be a good boy
And I’ll show you the rest
Ooh, my little voyeur
Wants to play explorer

Pick a part, you dream it up
Librarian, dominatrix
Oh boy, tell me your fantasy
Tonight’s the night (tonight’s the night)

(Chorus)
Tonight I’m gonna come alive
Make you forget about your nine-to-five
Are you ready for your blood to rise
Tonight’s the night I’m dressin’ up for you (dressin’ up)

You’re getting hot
So let’s call the nurse
Ooh, I feel a fever
Let’s take your temperature

Better behave
Or a police officer
Will have to hold you down
Give you what you deserve

Pick a part, you dream it up

Use your imagination
Oh boy, I’ll be your fantasy
Tonight’s the night (tonight’s the night)

(Chorus x2)

Tide
Tight
Tip
Teasing
Push
Pull
Pressure
Pleasing

Beads of sweat drip down your neck
Breathing deep, gaining speed, about to peak
Trembling
Trembling
Trembling

(Chorus x2)

Dressin’ up
I’m dressin’ up for you
I’m dressin’ up x5
For you
I’m dressin’ up
I’m dressin’ up for you

Lana Del Rey - Teaming Up With Cheryl Cole!

Cheryl Cole needs a hit and she is doing anything she can to get it.  When she heard that Lana had many unreleased songs, Cole jumped and found one she liked and now they're recording!  A source close to Cole says:
“Cheryl is a big fan of Lana and was intrigued to hear she had lots of songs written which she wasn’t going to sing herself. She got hold of one and was really taken with it.
“The record label are pretty happy about it because Lana has a massive following.”
Looks like Cole might finally get a hit!  The song was described as a "urban, mid-tempo ballad"! Plus with collaborations with Rihanna, Usher, and Taio Cruz!  Hope Cheryl comes out with some banging music!
Lana seems to be getting lots of collabos now!  Songs with Azealia Banks & Snoop Dogg are also in the pipeline!

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die (Review)

As much as I HATE to admit it.  I'm beginning to like Lana Del Rey.  I know, I know, I'm joining the bandwagon late.  At first I found her music strange, and well, lame.  But as I listen to her album in full I realize how many amazing melodies there are.
I really seem to like the songs that are less popular.  Well not less popular, but just the album cuts.  The European & iTunes bonus track, "The Lucky Ones" is one of my favorites, crafting a track full of drama and an undeniably catchy chorus.
I really have found myself loving "Summertime Sadness" as well.  With it's hip-hop influenced drums, and orchestral backing, the end of the song drives and really takes the track to a new level!
Other highlights are "Dark Paradise", "Radio", "This is What Makes Us Girls", and "Video Games"!
There are some songs I find real duds like the overly hip-hop influenced and ADD sounding "Lokita", the bland "Million Dollar Man".  "Carmen" is nice but overly melodramatic.  I personally don't like "Diet Mtn Dew", but I know others do.  Most of "Without You" is overly melodramatic, but the bridge completely saves the song!
"Blue Jeans", "National Anthem", "Off to the Races", and "Born to Die" are all good, but personally I don't think any of them stand out or up to the amazing pieces in the rest of the album.
There is definitely something here, but I don't think Lana Del Rey has the lasting power.  The amazing melodrama and drawl of her songs will get boring and lackluster.  I don't see her competing in the market ten years from now, but for the next year or two, the melodrama seems to be here to stay!

I can't wait for more new Katy music!  I love to listen to her talk!  The whole first part of the interview is about the writing of "Part of Me" and then talking about where she's going!  Can't wait!  I see so much success in her future! Crystal Castles - Check 'Em Out!

I have been finding the best bands today!  A friend recommended Crystal Castles today and I'm so excited!  They remind me a lot of Sleigh Bells but with a bit more of an electronic pop twinge!  I can't wait to hear more from them with their new music coming out this summer!  Right now check out more of their music here!

Madonna - "Girl Gone Wild" Remix Mash-Up Video!

Check out this fun mash-up video done over the Justin Cognito remix to Madonna's latest single, "Girl Gone Wild"!  Love to see all her iconic moments!

Madonna - "Masterpiece" to be Released as a Single?!

Check out the release and impact sheet for Madonna's "Masterpiece" from her upcoming album, MDNA! Is it a single or just released to radio?!  It's been around since November, so I don't see the point of releasing it as a single especially because of all the other hit songs spoken about in the reviews that have been released so far!  Who knows! So excited for MDNA though!

Rihanna - "Talk That Talk" Live @ Jonathan Ross Show!

Check out a fun and sultry performance of "Talk That Talk", Rihanna's upcoming single? off Talk That Talk! I actually quite love the performance and the bridge is to DIE for!  Like yes!  I think this song and idea for a single may be growing on me!  I just hope she goes on tour for this record!  I would love to see all the songs off Talk That Talk live! Check out her interview while on the Jonathan Ross Show below!

Calvin Harris - "Let's Go" ft. Ne-Yo!

Check out the new (hit) single from Calvin Harris!  The track featuring Ne-Yo is such a hit and is going to become a huge hit due to the previous success of "We Found Love" and his current single (even though I bought it over the summer), "Feel So Close"!  This track has even a bit of a more radio friendly vibe to it and I'm sure it will be blowing up dancefloors everywhere in... I'll give it one month.
Check out a download of a this preview of the track HERE!

School of Seven Bells - Ghostory! AMAZING!

Check out this amazing album and buy it.  BUY IT!  Recommended by Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters on his Twitter, I decided to check out this band that I've never even remotely heard of before.  And boy, am I glad I did! With their pulsing, hypnotic, electronic background, the tracks are layered with real drums and guitars, creating a deep and enveloping atmosphere for the listener.  Alejandra Deheza's erethreal vocals are fitting among the production and the given result is almost a mix of Madonna's "Ray of Light" and M83's "Hurry Up We're Dreaming".  With true and intricate lyrics and fantastic production, "Ghostory"is a great find and something worth checking out!

P!nk - In The Studio!

After having her baby and releasing a greatest hits album, the mother and w!fe is back to doing what she does best, making !ncredible music!  P!nk has tweeted:
Okay the hair is the palest pink.... You know what that means!!!!!!!!!! NEW RECORD TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's get to making some tuuuunes. Looney tunes.
Hopefully she has some more pounding hits up here sleeve!

Madonna - Boy Culture's MDNA Review + Edited Tracklists!

Check out the fun and less informative review of MDNA below!  But it does outline all the different tracklistings possible for Madonna's album, which is informative for everyone!  Can't wait for the album!
"Girl Gone Wild" (still listed as "Girls" in my hand-out, oopsy) opens the album and is, for my money, a scorching-hot song. Is it "Madonna?" No; she didn't write it or anything. But it's a terrific opener and undeniable (to me) fun. "Gang Bang" is like "GGW" on female Viagra (chocolate?)—it's a dark, driving club stomper, aggressive as hell. It has a techno edge that reminded me superficially of "Control" by Traci Lords. (A song I love. And please don't take any of my comparisons too literally; there was nothing that sounded...reductive.) Mika came up with this???
"Turn Up the Radio" is a sweeping, joyous pop-dance song as anthemic as "Get Together," one of my very favorite post-Ray of Light songs. "Give Me All Your Luvin'" sticks out like a sore thumb on this album. I remain a fan of it, but it's not near the top of my MDNA list.
Loved hearing "Superstar," complete with Lola singing backing vocals! A charming and fluffy song ("ooooh, la la!") that felt for me like "Little Star" had grown up and was having fun.
The suite of songs "Love Spent," "Masterpiece" and "Falling Free" is probably going to please any Madonna fan I've ever met. They're beautifully sung and are not cursed with oversimplified lyrics, nor do they sound like they care much if asinine radio programmers will like them. "Falling Free" is my fave song of the album so far, gorgeously sung, a total stand-out. Go, Joe Henry! Keep it together, indeed.
Now, I'd heard the bonus tracks were to die for, but who knew that a rumor would be true times 10? "Beautiful Killer" is a fucking great Orbit-sounding Solveig song (could Orbit really not have had a hand in this one???). How in the HELL this is not on the album proper, how in the HELL this is not a title track, I'll never understand. Even the cringe-inducing title "I Fucked Up" turns out to be a really pretty, plaintive pop song. "B-day Song" didn't seem to have its guest star—M.I.A. was M.I.A.
At some point, Nicki Minaj declares Madonna the only queen.
I genuinely loved most of what I heard. I would be shocked if many people didn't feel this was a vast improvement over Hard Candy which, let's be honest, was a good record. There are definitely songs on here that are personal, uplifting and inspiring mixed among the far louder "I'm still hot and young, fuck me in any hole you can!" club crushers.More news...

Rihanna - "Where Have You Been" Music Video Being Shot!

According to this tweet from Rihanna's production company, it seems that RiRi will be releasing the AMAZING, 100% best track off Talk That Talk, "Where Have You Been", as her next single off Talk That Talk!  The song is a continuation of the euphoria of "We Found Love" with a slightly somber tinge. It's addicting and the bridge is to DIE for!
First day of rehearsals for  video. Long day 2day!
Can't wait to see what Rihanna has in store for us!

UPDATE!
Rihanna tweeted:
@rihanna: Eating snacks in rehearsal #WHYB @HIHatprod
Looks like its official that a "Where Have You Been" Music Video is being shot!

Lana Del Rey - Two New Snippets!

Check out two new clips from Lana Del Rey! They are supposedly from her upcoming summer mixtape!  Check them below!

Damn You:

Hollywood:

Katy Perry - Making Darker Music, Going Back to Her Roots!

During her recent interview with Interview Magazine and MTV News, Katy Perry has made some hints at her new music! She said:
"Well, my music is about get real f**king dark,"
"I'll be shoe-gazing. You'll never see my face because my hair is in my face."
"I wrote Part of Me two years ago and I always knew that Part of Me was a special song."
"I am ready to make a new record and maybe try another approach artistically, and I will close the book on 'Teenage Dream' soon. I just think that it's time for me in some ways to show where I came from."
"I've always just been me and my guitar; and I'm not saying I'm going to make that record, but I do want to get back to my roots. I've been changing my hair color too much!"
I think it would be pretty stupid to try and re-do this last record that had all of this success…maybe it is time to do something different that can’t be compared
Seems like her new music will be more honest, dark, and simple.  I could get into this. But first I think she will release her fun single, "Dessin' Up". But it doesn't appear on this rumored tracklist for Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, so who knows!

Britney Spears - Performing in April?!

On Britney's official Vevo account it lists that she has a show in April in Washington DC!  Could this be true, of did it get put there by accident!?  Who knows but check the screen cap on the right!  Could this be the news that Famos* was talking about?  Or could she be going on X Factor?
