Lana Del Rey - Teaming Up With Cheryl Cole!

Cheryl Cole needs a hit and she is doing anything she can to get it.  When she heard that Lana had many unreleased songs, Cole jumped and found one she liked and now they're recording!  A source close to Cole says:

 “Cheryl is a big fan of Lana and was intrigued to hear she had lots of songs written which she wasn’t going to sing herself. She got hold of one and was really taken with it.

“The record label are pretty happy about it because Lana has a massive following.”

Looks like Cole might finally get a hit!  The song was described as a "urban, mid-tempo ballad"! Plus with collaborations with Rihanna, Usher, and Taio Cruz!  Hope Cheryl comes out with some banging music!

Lana seems to be getting lots of collabos now!  Songs with Azealia Banks & Snoop Dogg are also in the pipeline!

I actually quite love the performance and the bridge is to DIE for!  Like yes!  I think this song and idea for a single may be growing on me!  I just hope she goes on tour for this record!  I would love to see all the songs off Talk That Talk live! According to this tweet from Rihanna's production company, it seems that RiRi will be releasing the AMAZING, 100% best track off Talk That Talk, "Where Have You Been", as her next single off Talk That Talk!  The song is a continuation of the euphoria of "We Found Love" with a slightly somber tinge. It's addicting and the bridge is to DIE for!

Rihanna was spotted in London in a pair of black overalls, shooting a video for something on a fire escape!  Could it be a video for "Talk That Talk" or "Birthday Cake", or a commercial?  Who knows, but I bet it'll be hot!

Rihanna - Already Working on her Seventh Album!

RiRi's already up in the studio again working on her SEVENTH album!  This would be seven albums in seven years!  Impressive!  She's working with some dupstep producers, Chase'N'Status, who she worked with on 2009's Rated R.  Hopefully she stays right on trend and makes an epic album, but honestly, I just except a few more hits. 

Unfortunately Talk That Talk was a great album, but didn't sell that rapidly!  Hopefully she has more success with this upcoming music!  "Birthday Cake" was hot! and check out an interview with Chase'N'Status below!

Rihanna & Chris Brown - "Birthday Cake" & "Turn Up The Music" Going to iTunes & Radio!

Look's like the Rihanna-Chris Brown collaborations paid off!  The buzz has been killer and even radio are picking them up!  According to Billboard, the labels are seeing this reaction and are planning on sending these songs for real radio spins and to iTunes!  I'm glad people can put aside their differences for music!  And "Birthday Cake" is HOT!

The Dream - Talks about "Birthday Cake" with Rihanna & Chris Brown!

The Dream (whose real name is Terius Nash) spoke to Billboard about his production on the Rihanna and Chris Brown collaboration!  He seems to think pretty logically about the collaboration, even though the content of the song is quite sexual.  Check it out below!

"For me, it's just music -- two talented people doing a record together, doing two records together, and that's what it was," The-Dream (real name: Terius Nash) tells Billboard.com. "It wasn't about an incident that happened. The true thing really is to forgive, and… you want to believe in people."

"It was Rih's idea," says the producer. "Not only do we work together, but [Rihanna] is a friend of mine. And it's like, 'You wanna do something? Then cool, let's do it.' I don't know how she got the logistics and how it happened -- maybe she'll talk about it one day. I showed up at the studio, and it was like, 'All right, cool, let's finish this record,' which we probably should have finished the first time we did it."

"I think [the topic] that should be more on the tongues is: how do we proclaim to be a nation of forgiving, and we go by all of these rules and everything, but we can't actually do it?" he says. "It actually makes you look weaker than your adversary -- if you don't have the power to forgive, but you lie and say that you did.

"Because this is about her," The-Dream continues, of Rihanna. "If she can forgive, that's where she is mentally. As a friend, it's like, 'Okay, cool. Let's roll.'"

Looks like Rihanna and Chris Brown may have another collabo on their hands!  After rumors and confirmations swirling about Rihanna's "Birthday Cake" remix, coming out tomorrow (Rihanna's birthday), it seems if after the backlash Chris Brown tweeted:

Looks like Rihanna might be getting a little naughty, but this time not in the fun way.  Rihanna has been reportedly hooking up with her (Rihanna beating) ex, Chris Brown. But, on the music front according to sources from US Weekly, Rihanna and Chris Brown are recording a single together!  I hope the music is hot, but hopefully there's nothing more there.  Could this be the shocking (according to the producers) "Birthday Cake" collaboration?! I have a feeling this could be it.
UPDATE:  After guessing it earlier, it's been confirmed that Rihanna's "Cake" will feature her ex, the one who beat her up, the one and only, Chris Brown.  I don't know if I like this.  I still want Britney or Eminem on it.  Hope the full thing sounds hot!  But I don't know how they would shoot a video if they still have the restraining order!?
