Katy Perry - Surprise Guest at Grammys!!

YES! Omg, sorry for all the Katy news of late, but there has just been more and more exciting things to post!  The newest is the one that makes me squeal! A source close to Katy said:

Katy has a huge surprise in store and everyone is going to be talking about it. It’s going to be totally epic. She can’t wait for Sunday and everyone is so excited for her to show that the split hasn’t taken away her spirit and it’s only made her stronger.

You never know, maybe someone will perform with her." 

YES!  A guest!  Could it be Britney? Rihanna? Lady GaGa? Madonna? who know!  I personally hope it's Britney.  I remember Katy asking a crowd over the summer if they liked Britney and it was rumored they would collaborate on an "I Wanna Go" remix!  Maybe now is their time! Earlier she did tweet: "Just finished rehearsals for Grammy's… I'm. so. excited. #somethingscooking" YES!

The Born This Way Ball will perform 110 shows around the world. The opening dates are out today, with more announcements to ensue.

Lady GaGa - Tour Stage Revealed!

Check out Mother Monster's stage for her upcoming tour in suppor of her Platinum album, Born This Way!  Can't wait to rock out and hear the whole crowd shout "EW" during the SICK bridge in "Judas".  Also, the Monster Pit looks intense!  She is really going all out for this tour! Roman Gothic!

Lady GaGa - Tweets about Tour!

Lady GaGa has been tweeting up a storm about "The Monster Pit" and other details of the upcoming tour!

To give you a bit of insight on the design of my new tour, the central area within the stage will be known as "The Monster Pit."

"The Monster Pit" is General Admission only, and Little Monsters unlock it when they arrive to the arena or stadium.

Entry to "The Monster Pit" is relegated to the fans who have arrived first, waited all night, + dressed to "Ball."

Every night Haus of Gaga will choose fans from The Monster Pit to come back stage + meet me! These tickets are NOT more expensive.

Reading your questions :) No dress code requirement. "Born This Way" means anything goes. 

YAY!  She's tweeting a picture of the stage tonight, and hopefully releasing the dates soon!

Lady GaGa - No More Singles from Born This Way

According to the "Ask Billboard" seen below, Interscope has states no more songs are being released from Lady GaGa's third album, Born This Way.  I can't decide if I am happy or sad.  I really just hope the tour is amazing.  Check out the report below!

To which he replied:

“Sheibe” does have a hooky chorus. Personally, I’d still prefer “Hair” as a pop radio single were another to be released from “Born This Way.”

An Interscope executive confirmed to Billboard this week that there are no current plans for another single from the album.


Despite selling 5.4 million worldwide and shipping almost double that figure, ‘Born’ is just not the mega seller Interscope were hoping it would be.

For, taking into consideration its year long promo campaign, cinematic videos and critically acclaimed singles, selling 5 million copies just isn’t the business, especially following the smash hits that were ‘The Fame‘ & ‘The Fame Monster‘.

With album #4 on its way, we hope Gaga serves something bold, fresh and exciting.

Because as inspiring as ‘Born's' cuts are, they just aren’t as exciting as the ‘Alejandro’s and ‘Love Game’s of the world."

Lady GaGa - Performing @ The Grammys & New Single!

Little Monsters rejoice!  Lady GaGa is reported to release another single off her hit album, Born This Way, "Heavy Metal Lover"!  The fan favorite track has been on my playlist for a LONG time and I LOVE IT!  It goes in and will definitely do what she wants.  According to French Sources in an article on Oh No They Didn't, GaGa chose the single because she said she ''wants to make fans dance and sweat all around the world.''

Also, GaGa is reportedly performing at the Grammys on February 12th!  The Grammys are looking hot with a LOT of hot performances!

AHH! According to new reports Pharrell wants to replace Dr. Luke as Co-Executive Producer for Britney Spears's upcoming album.  He went to Britney's label and wants collaborations with Shakira and Lady GaGa!  If all of this comes to fruition, it looks like Britney could be posed for even more dominance!

Madonna - NEW Interview about Lady GaGa

Check out this Madonna interview, a new one about Lady GaGa!  It's actually quite interesting!


McFadden did, starting with the question of whether Madonna felt Gaga was “copying” her. The pop singer’s response, at first, was complimentary. She called Gaga “a very talented artist” and said she admired her songwriting. But she owned up to the connection between Gaga’s music and her own.

“I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it’s amusing and flattering and well done,” she said.

Madonna said sometimes Gaga’s work also appears to be a “statement about taking something that was in the Zeitgeist, you know, 20 years ago and turning it inside out and reinterpreting it.” 


“There’s a lot of ways to look at it. I can’t really be annoyed by it …because, obviously, I’ve influenced her.” 

But the Material Girl became coy when the conversation turned to “Born This Way.”

“When I heard it on the radio …I said that sounds very familiar,” Madonna said.

Asked if that felt annoying, Madonna responded, “It felt reductive.”

Pressed as to whether that was a good or bad thing, Madonna told Cynthia McFadden to “look it up” — we did; the term means “minimal” or “crude” — before smiling slyly and taking a sip from her tea cup. 

Lady GaGa - New Album Out This Year!

In this interview with Insider, GaGa responded interestingly to a question about her plans for 2012.  “I just want to keep going. I’m not as goal-obsessed as I am process-obsessed. I just want to keep writing music. I’m looking forward to putting out another album and going on tour.” She talks about making new music and her writing process and her excitement for the tour!
