Adam Lambert - Collabo with B.O.B.!?

Adam just tweeted:
Strange Clouds by BOB is NUTS! Shit!
B.O.B. ... :)
Could this be hinting at a collabo??? I think maybe! I don't know if their styles would match, but I love all collaborations!!

Adam Lambert - Dancey Second Single!

Check out Nile Rogers and Adam Lambert recording above, but the more important news is that Lambert promises that his second single will be dancey!!  Check out the quote from the idolator interview below!
During our interview, Adam explains that he released “Better Than I Know Myself” as the album’s lead single in order to “connect emotionally” with his audience, and “give them something vocal” that also says something real. (However, he promises single #2 will have people wanting to get up and dance!)
Hope "Cookoo" is the next single because with writing from Bonnie McKee it sounds HOT!

Adam Lambert - Duet with Sam Sparro & Trespassing Delayed!

According to an interview here, Adam Lambert's Trespassing will feature writing with Bruno Mars & a duet with Sam Sparro!  When asked about Bruno Mars he said:
no duets have been recorded except for Sam Sparro's feature on "Shady". Bruno has WRITTEN a song for the album. :) #factcheck
So excited for Trespassing!!  But according to the interview it says the album will be released "Maypril":
"It will be a 'Mapril' release."
Yes, the album release date has been pushed back. Working on some new songs, making the album even better! Thank you all for understanding.
Hope it isn't delayed too much, but it's understandable trying to get a real "hit" out before the album to create buzz.  Not that "Better Thank I Know Myself" isn't awesome, it just hasn't really burned up the Top 40!

PS Check out an informative interview with Lambert here! And check out Z100's interview with lambert below!

Adam Lambert - Tweets Lyrics to "Trespassing"

Check out the really cool lyrics Lambert just tweeted, which seem to come from the title track of his upcoming album, Trespassing:
"Well I was walkin for some time, when I came across this sign- sayin 'who are u and where are u from? We don't like when visitors come'"...
..."No Trespassing that's what it said, at least that's what I could read. No Trespassing? Yeah, my ass! Wait till ya get a load of me!"
"I don't need no sympathy. I won't cry and whine. Life's my light and liberty, and I'll shine when I wanna shine"
"Make their faces crack- there's no turnin back. Let's GO!"
So excited! SO SO excited!  Can't wait 'til March 20 for this album!  Seems SO hot!

Check out this behind the scenes look at Lambert's video for "Better Than I Know Myself", out next monday.
“I definitely wanted to take a more hands on role in the video concept and the whole process,” Lambert says. “I think what [director Ray Kay and I] came up with was a nice twist on the song ‘Better Than I Know Myself’.”“I think when viewers see the video they’ll look at the lyrics a little bit differently than may have first considered them,” he adds.
Loving all the new music! Hope the video is exciting!

Adam Lambert - Trespassing Album Cover!

Bam.  In Your Face Sexy.  Adam Lambert's upcoming March album's cover.
Check out the album artwork Adam Lambert just tweeted!  Isn't it great! Loving his eves, and the less glam-ish look!  Below the cut check out an album preview from MTV.uk! Lambert is serving as the executive producer and creative director for the project!

"Stand out songs include LP title track Trespassing - a foot-stomping anthem produced byPharrell Williams - whose presence can be felt throughout the tune. With its heavy bassline and thumping beats, it's sure to be a hit - showing a more edgy R&B feel compared to his previous material.
Other highlights include heartfelt balladOutlaws Of Love. Described as the 'most personal song' on the record, the dark track tells the tale of a forbidden relationship - otherwise known as Lambert's 'coming out' song. It displays a softer side to the somewhat eccentric star, giving him a chance to show off his crazy vocals and believe us, this boy can sing!
Lead single Better Than I Know Myself is also a chance for Adam to show off his vocal range, reaching notes we didn't even know were possible. Lambert fans, think Whataya Want From Me.
Lambert has also teamed up with Bonnie McKee - who has worked with Katy Perry and Britney Spears - on electo-pop tune Cuckoo, which is already proving to be a firm favourite among his loyal fan base.
Sam Sparro also features on the album, working with Adam on synth-heavy track, Broken English and Shady - which wouldn't look out of place on a Maroon 5 LP. Dirty pop at it's best.
Overall, Trespassing displays Lambert's progression from being a contestant on American Idol to becoming an artist in his own right and we can't wait to hear the rest of the record!"

Adam Lambert - MORE New Album Info!

Check out yet another review of the same six tracks from Adam Lambert's upcoming LP, Trespassing, this time from EQ Music Blog!
"Cookoo": My goodness. It only took about 20 seconds for this song to be one of my favorite songs of 2012. "Cookoo" opens up with a hard dance beat and progresses with swirly, sweeping synths that lure you in and make you want to dance. The chorus is huge. Massive sound and the track showcases Adam's extremely powerful vocals that have repeatedly set him above all the rest. Then we get to the bridge of the song, which is pure hard electro greatness.  "Cookoo" is an extremely infectious song that demands attention right from the get go and is definitely one that you will all have on repeat for days.
"Trespassing":  Speaking of infectious tracks, "Trespassing" is one that really hits home for me as a Queen fan. Right from the beginning it features a bass line and beat extremely reminiscent of Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" while maintaining a very unique sound. The chorus to this song is also very big, and very, very anthemic; one that you'll be passionately singing along with every listen. It's almost as if he gave Queen a pop kick and brought their sound into 2012.
"Shady": This song, a collaboration with Sam Sparro and Nile Rogers, is attention grabbing from the get go. The lyrics are very suggestive and Adam's vocals are extremely seductive. His vocals on this track are also very diverse and really show off his extensive vocal range and ability. With a swelling bass and a big dance chorus, this song will make you want to dirty dance into the early hours of the morning.
"Outlaws of Love": This song absolutely broke my heart. It's a much slower tempo ballad, which shows off the darker elements of the album and features very tender, vulnerable vocals. Not only is this a very vulnerable song, it is also very emotionally revealing and authentic.Adam really lets his guard down and reveals his heart with this song and such authentic vulnerability is a rare find in pop music these days. The lyrics are rather sad, but this song will, without a doubt, hit home with the LGBT community (and everyone else, in all honesty). When you listen to it, be sure to have some tissues nearby. Seriously.
"Broken English": This is the final song we heard and it is more of a mid-tempo dance song with a very driving beat. I was initially a little skeptical about this one until I heard the chorus. The chorus to this song is huge and even infuses some dubstep into it, which proved to be very effective. And then you're blindsided by Adam's huge vocals and you instantly fall in love with this track. The breakdown in the bridge is also irresisible and features very hard electronica fused together with some dubstep.
Based on the five songs I heard today I can say without a doubt that  "Trespassing"will be the album of the year. One of my problems with his first album, "For Your Entertainment", was that it tried to do too much with differnet genres and was a bit scattered.  Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the album, but there seemed to be too many different styles of music going on. "Trespassing" fuses together rock, dance-pop and a little dubstep and does it expertly.
While this album is extremely foward-thinking and sonically progressive, this isn't all that makes it great. What makes this album so wonderful is that you can really feelAdam's personality shining through in each song.  Few artists have the ability to do whatAdam does here: to create a piece of art that stems straight from the heart and soul while still sounding so unique, futuristic and amazing.

Adam Lambert - New Better Than I Know Myself Video Still

Here's another new still for Lambert's upcoming music video for "Better Than I Know Myself".  Eh.  hope it's more fun than it looks so far!  I want to jam. Sure the album will be banging tho, and he is lookin' QUITE fine in the picture.  num.

Adam Lambert - More Info About Trespassing

Not only is Adam looking hotter and hotter these days, but his reviews are getting better!  Check out this first listen review from Deanpiper.com.  CooKoo sounds HOT! Check the review below the cut!

"Better Than I Know Myself – Lukasz ‘Dr Luke’ Gottwald, Cirky, Ammo
The first track off the new album. BTIKM is an interesting choice for the lead. It’s perfect pop and his vocals are on fire. Releasing this track first shows just how confident the label is on this album.
Outlaws of Love – Rune Westerberg, Adam Lambert
This is ‘the ballad’ of the album. As a whole I’m told Trespassing is going to have a light and dark feel as a whole. Lots of high energy dance songs on one side and then a dark side that feature the more personal stuff.
This track is all about Adam coming out, getting to know himself and dealing with prejudice he’s encountered for being gay. “Say we’ll rot in hell, I don’t think we will.”
It’s written beautifully and is empowering and you really connect with the fact this song is deeply personal. It feels like an Aguilera ballad (minus the dodgy diva fakeness).
He should be extremely proud of this one – and it will become a firm anthem for the fans…..

Cookoo – Ollie Gee, Adam Lambert and Bonnie McGee
This song is friggin’ HUGE. It’s dance pop through and through and people will be gagging to remix it. A floorfiller, massive radio hit for Europe and even has a Britney style breakdown for the dance moves to be flexed. It was instantly a winner and a definite single.
Trespassing – Pharrell Williams, Adam Lambert
Who knew that Pharrell and Adam would make such an insanely good match! Not an obvious pairing but it feels so slick. It brings the FUNK and has a Gwen Stefani Hollerback Girl clap to it. You could imagine the video the second the claps began.
It also has a touch of early Queen to it in the shape and form of the thundering bassline running throughout.

Shady (Feat. Nile Rogers and Sam Sparro) – Lester Mendez, Nile Rogers. Written by Adam Lambert and Sam Sparro
Shady is the track Justin Timberlake should be launching if/when he realises that he was once a Prince of Pop. It’s a little more pop r+b I guess and yes, it is shady. There’s a Scissor Sisters style funk feel to it that runs throughout and the guest vocals work beyond perfectly. I was excited about this one and it doesn’t disappoint.

Broken English – Lester Mendez, Adam Lambert
Easily his strongest vocal on the sampler I’ve heard. It’s subtle and controlled and reminded me of a Darren Hayes style track but with an injection of adrenalin to make it actually worthwhile listening too without wanting to top yourself when it’s overplayed."
Hope this "britney breakdown" is really fantastic.  I don't want to get my hopes up.

Adam Lambert - 6 New Tracks!

Bryancooke.com just got a listening to 6 new Adam Lambert tracks!  Here's what they said!

"1 ] TRESPASSING : The title track [written by Adam & Pharrell Williams] is BANGIN! Really feelin that “We Will Rock You” inspired opening rhythm, the bass lines got an “Another One Bites The Dust” feel to it and theres a really cool guitar hook. Best line has gotta be “Wait till ya get a load of me”. Theres a breakdown part near the end just straight Adam vox and drums..no bass. Sick.
2] COOKOO : Ollie Gee, Bonnie McGee & Adam co wrote this. Bonnies previous credits include several Katy Perry hits. Cookoo is another one for the hit list! Wont give too much away on this one! Wait till ya hear it! Definately a party jam.

3] BROKEN ENGLISH : An anthemic, slower tempo track co written with Adam by Lester Mendez [Enrique, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Dido]. A beautiful love song which might just possibly be autobiographical. “I know you will understand I gotta tell you somehow”. Like say you had a partner whos 1st language wasnt English….you might encounter this situation! Quite haunting in parts & some fat beats ..an amazing song.

4] UNDERNEATH : Another track from Adam’s “darker side” and definately one of the stand outs. Its stripped back basically to piano and vocals & REALLY lets Adams vocal shine…at least in the rough mix I was played. You got to remember these tracks are SO new they arent even finished yet!
5] KICKIN IN : Damn it got this white boy movin! [dont worry I wont show you my moves] Written by Pharrell, its a club banger and for mine…a HIT! “She puts the shot glass down, she asks for another round, girl dont u hit the ground, is it kickin in”. Funky shit.
6] CHOKEHOLD : Adam didnt play me the song but went out of his way to tell me about it at lunch. Hes really excited for people to hear it when its ready. Says its got a 90′s Depeche Mode feel to it…I say bring it on!"
I'm SUPER excited for this album!

Adam Lambert - Response to Arrest

After Lambert and his boyfriend were arrested because of a bar fight and released this morning, Lambert posted this clever remark to his twitter.  Glad he isn't all serious about it.
"Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned.
Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)"

Adam Lambert - Better Than I Know Myself (Review)

Adam Lambert's new song has arrived, and its a banging midtempo track.  But more importantly than that, it's real.  He sings about how he hasn't always been the best in the relationship, but how he is committed and how he loves the parter.  It's quite interesting and has the hit potential!
This is most likely because of his love of Top 40 and his working with hit makers Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly!  The production is tight, and his vocals are off the chain!  The bridge is soft and sweet with a killer piano!
I'm just hoping the album can be filled with amazing songs like this.  It might be a huge, huge success!~
